It Has Always Been Obvious To Me: Life In Red States Is Hazardous To Your Health

People live longer in Hawaii and other blue states

Alan: People in Red States are more irresponsible than people in Blue States.
They do not hesitate to endanger their own lives with lousy diet, shoddy education and deadly violence.

Bad religion -- defined as religion that fosters fear -- doesn't help either.

Of the 25 states above the national average, 19 are blue and just six are red. Of the 25 states below the national average, 17 are red and just eight are blue.
Environmental policies, access to health insurance, workplace safety regulations ... these things matter. They are literally a matter of life and death. And it's clear that conservatism is hazardous to your health.
