FR: No matter how hard you try, you can't erase history.

Alan: History shows that The North won; that The Seditious South was subsequently reunited with the astonishingly non-punitive North; that racial and ethnic equality became "the law of the land"; that Americans do not fly foreign flags more eagerly than we fly "the stars and bars"; and that statues and other memorabilia relating to the confederate traitors who tried to destroy the United States have no place in public spaces (although people may exhibit their fondness for the slave-holding south by exhibiting confederate and Nazi artifacts on their private property).

Confederate statues should not be destroyed but curated in museum "Sculpture Gardens" where they will be displayed along with information exhibits that fully contextualize these memorials.
