But to extrapolate "generalized truthfulness" from "occassional instances of truthfulness" is an open intellectual sewer. Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao Zedong (and Johnson-MacNamara-Westmoreland in Vietnam) had many genuine insights. So? They were still full of bullshit.
Alan: Follow the money and you will find that the "snake oil supplements" Jones sells as "miracle cures" and "restorative tonics" are nothing more than garden variety "vitamins, minerals and nutritional compounds" that can be purchased at Costco/Walmart for a tenth the cost.
