It is not surprising that the FBI would investigate San Juan's mayor, Carmen Cruz.
After all, Trump's party controls The Oval Office, both houses of Congress, and The Supreme Court.
Against this backdrop of Total Political Control, it is not just surprising but flabbergasting that a special counsel has been appointed to investigate treachery (if not traitorous betrayal) by Trump and his officials.
A number of high-ranking Trump functionaries --- General Flynn, Paul Manafort and Tom Price among them -- have already been booted from office over presumed illegality.
And, since Trump himself is being investigated for illegal behavior, are we to suppose that he -- like Carmen Cruz who is also under investigation -- is "hateful?"
